Cheers to Rico Walcott at his big Garrison Savannah win!

Rico Walcott was de boss  instead of Mr. Phenomenal, Patrick Husbands bringing Sayler's Creek to a victory at the 34th annual running of the Barbados Gold Cup! Rico won his first championship at the 2015 Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup last Saturday the 7th! He is a four time champion jockey at Northlands Park in Canada. It was the second consecutive win for owner Kenneth Ramsey from the U.S. whose horse Major Marvel, with Husbands aboard, won it last March. This race saw Daunting David placed second, Knight Rider third, and Gentleman's Kitten(the second horse owned by Ramsey), with Husbands astride fourth. Prime Minister Freundel Stuart presented the Gold Cup to Mr. Ramsey and family. I put a little 'trala' on Patrick's mount to win just for the fun of it. No regrets as I enjoyed the main race, other races, and a few drinks with several friends at what is considered the premiere horse racing event of the Caribbean!
